MG Group Exports Limited is an export house that was established in 2000 in Hawke's Bay, the largest horticultural growing region in New Zealand. From New Zealand, the business specialises in apples, cherries, citrus, vegetables and berries.
MG Group Exports is part of Market Gardeners Limited, a New Zealand grower owned co operative that trades as MG Group, reflecting its strong connection to a wider global network.
Today the business sources from New Zealand, Australia, North America and South America supporting a more diverse and year round supply programme for international customers.
From its broad network of operations, MG Group Exports supplies premium produce to key markets in Europe, North America, the Middle East, India and Asia.

Based in Hawke’s Bay and working with growers throughout the country, with key export programmes including apples, cherries, citrus, vegetables, persimmons and berries.
Australia exports
Grapes, citrus, melons and mangos are key categories, with Australian growing seasons providing important counter-seasonal supply for international customers.
North and South America
Supply partnerships across the Americas extend the availability of key product lines, including grapes, citrus, cherries and blueberries, and strengthen year-round supply capability.

MG Group Exports' largest shareholder is Market Gardeners Limited, a New Zealand grower owned co operative that trades as the MG Group, which holds a 84% stake in the business.
MG represents over 400 grower shareholders and is New Zealand's leading supplier of top quality produce. Through its network of local branches and subsidiary and associate businesses, MG is also involved in sales, distribution, farming and intellectual property development.
The balance of MG Group Exports' shares are held within the management team.
